Grace and Grit About Us Header
Yuleen Grace and Grit

Yuleen is a powerhouse attorney and entrepreneur redefining how women in business access legal and HR support. As the Founder and Director of YJVR Attorneys Incorporated, she transformed one of the most uncertain moments of her life — starting a firm after South Africa’s lockdown — into a thriving, award-winning legal practice.

With three law degrees, including a Master’s in International Import & Export Law, Yuleen built a firm that helps companies stay compliant, manage their people confidently, and grow sustainably. She disrupted the traditional legal model through her Labour Retainer Packages and digital innovation like Vuma Contracts and Vuma Labour Assistance, which make compliance tools accessible to entrepreneurs nationwide.

Her leadership and innovation have earned her national recognition — from being named Best Junior Businesswoman of the Vaal (GTCOC 2025) to becoming a national finalist for Best Woman-Owned Business at the News24/Lula SME Awards.

Beyond her firm, Yuleen hosts a legal talk show on MCR Radio, where she breaks down complex workplace laws into practical advice for everyday people. Her commitment to empowerment extends into her community, where she provides pro bono legal support to NPOs, mentors women in business, and advocates for leadership with integrity.

As Grace & Grit’s Grit Lead, Yuleen brings her business acumen, strategic mindset, and passion for growth to the network. She curates business content, secures expert speakers, and helps members turn their ideas into impact. Whether it’s navigating legal structures, mastering financial literacy, or scaling with confidence, Yuleen equips women to move forward with resilience and purpose.

Driven by faith and fortified by grit, Yuleen reminds every woman that courage, strategy, and conviction can transform uncertainty into opportunity.
